TAHLEQUAH TENNIS

Did you know…

Since 1926 Tahlequah has been known for tennis…starting with the McSpadden-Kisner Tennis Dynasty at Northeastern State Teachers College.

The first court in Tahlequah was built by Jack Kisner.

1958 Tahlequah’s First & Only High School State Championship

Tahlequah has been home to State Champions, All State Members, Oklahoma Tennis Hall of Fame Members, Missouri Valley Tennis Hall of Fame Members, and Oklahoma Academic State Champions.

We hope to continue this legacy with more outreach for adults and youth by offering more programming and adding LED Lighting to the Tahlequah High School Tennis Courts, so the ENTIRE community of tennis can benefit.
